Weekly review
What it means
A weekly review is a fixed appointment with yourself, usually 15 to 30 minutes, to look back at the week and ahead at the next one. You process loose notes, close finished tasks, check upcoming appointments and pick the few things that matter most. It comes from the Getting Things Done method, where it is the habit that keeps the whole system trustworthy.
How to use it
Do it at the same time every week, such as Friday afternoon or Sunday evening. Follow a short checklist: empty the inbox, look back at the calendar, look two weeks ahead, choose three priorities. Keep it short enough that you never skip it.
Try it: what you write, what LifeOS does
- “every friday at 4pm weekly review” → A weekly appointment every Friday at 16:00, with a nudge so the review happens even in a busy week.
