Meal prep
What it means
Meal prep is preparing some or all of the week's meals in advance, typically in one session on Sunday: cooking grains and proteins, chopping vegetables, portioning out lunches. It saves time on busy days, removes the daily question of what to eat and makes it easier to eat at regular times instead of skipping meals or ordering in.
How to use it
Start with one meal, usually weekday lunches. Pick two recipes, shop and cook on the same day. Regular meal times help too: they give the day a rhythm that the rest of the plan can be built around.
Try it: what you write, what LifeOS does
- “lunch at 1pm” → Sets your usual lunch time; the daily plan keeps that slot and fits your appointments around it.
